A Medieval or Post Medieval cast lead alloy biface token, c. AD 1250-1800. Powell Type14. The token is discoidal and decorated on one face with what seems to be a cross moline and possible one pellet in each angle; the other side seems to be a simple cross. Further detail is illegible.
Lead alloy tokens had a wide variety of uses and were easy to manufacture; they are therefore difficult to date outside of secure archaeological contexts. Those with simple designs are thought to date to the Medieval and Post Medieval periods.
