A complete Neolithic unpolished flint axehead (4000 BC-2351 BC).
This axehead is an elongated oval shape in plan, more pointed at the top than at the bottom. In plan, the butt is rounded and the cutting edge is curved. In side view it is pointed oval and in cross-section it sub-lozenge shaped.
It has been knapped overall and has a dull off-white patina. The cutting edge is sharp an undamaged.
