A copper-alloy medieval single-looped buckle with trapezoidal frame and folded sheet plate. The frame has slightly convex sides and rounded corners. The outer edge is narrowed at its centre to accommodate a folding sheet or roller which survives in place. The frame's bar is also narrowed and offset. The sheet plate is rectangular with slightly abraded edges. The lower half of the fold is both narrower and shorter than the upper half. They are connected an extant rivet at the attachment end. The frame end has recessed side to accommodate the frame; the gap afforded is generous. A perforation through both folds just beyond the frame formed the pin hole; the pin is now missing. For rectangular buckle frames see Egan and Pritchard (1991, 96; fig. 61). The frame and plate have a mid-/dark-green colour. A fragment of leather survived between the folds at the attachment end.
