The upper part of a bow brooch of Hod Hill type. There are traces of a white metal coating. Part of the hinge and pin, which were probably of iron, survive in the hinge case; below are two horizontal mouldings. The upper bow carries five vertical fluted mouldings and probably originally had side lugs.
