A complete silver half groat of Edward III (AD 1327 to AD 1377) dating to the period AD 1356 to AD 1361. North Number 1202.
The obverse depicts a forward facing crowned bust within a tressure of arches. The coin has been clipped but the legend is still visible and reads EDWARDVS REX ANGLI FRANC. The reverse depicts a long cross which divides the legends. There are three pellets in each angle. The outer legend reads POSVI DEV ADIVTORE M.
