A fragment of a wheel thrown ceramic vessel of medieval date, circa AD 1250 - 1500. The fragment is a base sherd with a soft gritty oxidized fabric. Some small light coloured glistening inclusions, possibly mica or quartz are present within the fabric.
The fragment is 40.7mm long, 33.1mm wide, 8.7mm thick and weighs 9.6g.
