Silver gilt finger ring bezel. Cast rectangular section band fragment of width 4.2mm and thickness 1.2mm with a figurative openwork bezel soldered to it; the rest of the band is lost. The bezel comprises a bifoliate crown with large central fleur springing from a heart flanked by a pair of quatrefoils. The finder kindly notes the identification by the UK Metal Detectorist's Database of comparable pieces as being of 15th-century date. In view of the suspected age and material this object is to be submitted to the Treasure process, reference 2013 T401. Suggested date: Late Medieval, 1450-1500.
