Dark grey Flint with cortex and cloudy white mottled patination. Flint fragment bearing long parallel flake removal scars around one curving edge, and a depression where another flake has been detached on an adjacent surface. The cloudy patina has spread over the scars, indicating it has developed after the core was discarded. Suggested date: Neolithic, 4000-2100 BC.
