Grey flint with cortex, patinated. Core. Knapped flint with four long parallel flake removal scars on one face, and similar scars on an adjacent edge; these faces have subsequently acquired a mottled white and bluish patinated surface over what a recent break reveals to be a mid grey flint. Suggested date: Early Neolithic,4000-3501 BC.
