Medieval lead ampulla decorated in low relief on one face with a downwards pointing arrow and on the other with a flask within a crescent within radial grooves. The flask "is possibly an illusion to one of Walsingham's main attractions - the phial of the Holy Milk of the Blessed Mary kept on the high altar" (Spencer 1971, 63) and this form of arrow is found on some Walsingham pilgrim badges (Spencer 1980, 15). Height 46mm. Width 34mm. c.1350 - c.1530.
