Roman copper alloy penannular finger ring with D-sectioned hoop and confronting snake's head terminals. These are highly stylised but their lack of detail may in part be due to wear. Johns 1996, Type Bii. External diameter 19.5 - 20.5mm. Internal diameter 17 - 17.5mm. Width of hoop 5mm, of terminals 6mm. 2nd century.
