A Medieval (1250-1450) copper alloy probable strap clasp. It has a plain rectangular frame with a projecting oblong integral attachment with ridged collar, rounded to one side and flat to the other. At this point on the inside edge of the frame is a flat semi-circular protrusion. The two connecting arms of the frame at this point extend downwards. It measures 37.16 x 22.39 x 3.94mm and weighs 7.1g.
