Medieval copper alloy shield-shaped strap-end with a bar-mount of arched cross-section, two rivets and two rectangular roves. There is a notch on both sides and an angled inside edge. Cf. Egan and Pritchard 1991, no. 735. 15 x 9mm (bar-mount 4.5 x 8.5mm). Second half 14th century.
