A complete Medieval (1200-1500) copper-alloy harness pendant suspension mount or hanger.
The suspension mount consists of a long bar, 8.5mm wide and originally 54.85mm in length, with two loops projecting from the centre to one side. The end of one bar have been bent backwards. The bar is D-shaped in cross-section.
Beyond the end two bosses is a stylized fleur-de-lis terminal with a central piercing c.3mm in diameter. A long oval projects from each.
The object measures 54.85mm in bent length, is max.16.25mm wide and 5.75mm thick and weighs 8.34g.
