Late Iron Age to early Roman copper alloy rosette / thistle brooch. The brooch is incomplete, the whole spring and pin meachanism has been lost. These types of brooch are not native to Great Britain and may have been imported from Gaul. Dates from c25 BC to c60 AD.

The length is 33mm, width 23mm, thickness 14mm and weight 5.93g.
