Incomplete Roman copper alloy circular seal box lid, part of the outside edge missing. A damaged separate copper alloy animal is secured by an integral rivet on its reverse to the centre of the lid, within a concentric rib with transverse grooves forming beading, damaged outside edge with stump of broken rectangular stump of loop at upper edge. Andrews' (2012) shape C2 with design D6. Extant length 21mm. Diameter 20mm. 2nd - 3rd century.
