An unpatinated long flint flake. It is struck from a dark red/brown flint with prominent bulb of percussion and cortex remaining on the striking platform and along one edge. There are parallel flake scars on the dorsal face and limited edge retouch. It measures 50.14mm in length, 31.22mm in width, 6.75mm in thickness and 10.55g in weight. This flake is of probable Neolithic date, if not slightly earlier, c.3500-2100 BC.
