Silver coin. Sceat, cf Continental Series A Abramson's reference E110, suggested Frisian issue of 710-765
Obverse description: Quilled crescent coiled right enclosing four bars, the left end one with an angled bar attached; an extra pellet occurs between bars and crescent.
Reverse description: Beaded Standard, listed as 'degenerate' by Abramson 2006 but here neatly defined with a cross pommee in each corner and a void central annulet (cf. Metcalfe's Series E motif F); angular figures occur outside the beaded edge but do not form crosses.
