Grey flint, patinated overall, scraper. Oval ended plano-convex scraper. A striking platform at one end and a bulb of percussion on the ventral aspect shows where the flake was detached from its core. The removal of at least two long flakes may have preceded this operation, which was probably followed by hard hammer and pressure flaking from the dorsal aspect to form a rounded end. Patinated overall. Suggested date: Early Bronze Age, 2100-1500 BC.
