Late Saxon copper alloy disc brooch. Extremely worn with cast backward facing beast in low relief just discernible on the front face, all of the edge and the originally segmented border missing. Single broken pin-lug paralelle with edge and very worn catch-plate at right-angles to edge on reverse. Pin missing.
