An incomplete and corroded Medieval cast copper-alloy coin weight, possibly for a Noble dating 1412-1464 (Withers and Withers 1995: 19 and 68).
This weight is circular and flat with a faint raised design on one side only. The design is of a ship. The full weight at this time would have been 108 grains. The weight is reduced in size and weight due to damage and corrosion.
Diameter: 15.6m; thickness: 4.1mm. Weight: 4.93g. (76.2grains).
