A cast copper alloy Post Medieval hooked tag. The openwork plate consists of three holes in a trefoil formation (two above one) with a cusp projecting from each angle. At the top of the plate is a vertical triangular attachment loop and at the base is an integral hook with a ribbed collar at the top. The tip of the hook is missing. Compare PUBLIC-4B16D2 and NLM-9DC278. This design of hooked tag is less common than others. Hooked tags date from the 16th or 17th century. See Read Class E type 5 which are similar.
