A lead alloy sliptop spoon. Broken into two pieces. The stem is oval in cross section with a tapered slip top terminal. The stem has broken away from the bowl where it flattens and starts to flare out. The slightly convex bowl is a broad "fig-shape" and the sides have been folded in in places. There are no visible touch marks. The alloy contains more lead than other metals (probably tin) resulting in it feeling heavy for its size.
