A copper alloy Tornai jetton. A Sheild of France type issued in the reign of Charles VI (1380 - 1422). Some of the detail is obscured by wear. There is a square hole cut into the legend at approximately 5 o'clock at the obverse.
Obverse: Sheild with three lis. The motif above sheild may be 'star - starlet - star' with 'AVE MARIA GRACIA' as legend.
Reverse: Triple stranded straight cross fleuretty with stars in angles.
