Near the latter there is a rivet hole in the centre of double concentric punched rings. At the other end there is longitudinal grooved decoration with a hole in the centre containing an attachment spike or tack (not a rivet). The width increases through an offset before two projection that are curled around an iron bar. Extant length and width 38mm and 18mm. For this type of clasp see Margeson 1993, 74-5, pl. XIII. 16th century.
