Copper alloy with gilding traces, button. Pressed metal button with a central design of a seven-pointed star with a pellet between each pair of arms, with seven radiating petals, each enclosing a five-pointed star. A stamped maker's mark on the back includes an heraldic crest and the legend: PARIS 27 SOLIDITE. There is a small drawn wire loop. Suggested date: Modern, 1850-1900.
