A Roman cast copper alloy Roman disc brooch. Large areas of the surface are missing although the remainder is well preserved. The brooch has a central recess for a missing glass setting. Around the setting are two concentric frames each of which is decorated with repeating S forms. The back of the brooch is surfaced with a white metal coat and the spring and pin were of iron. There are slight traces of gilding.
