Roman copper alloy key handle, 69mm long, 30mm wide and 14mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 76.34grams. It consists of a fragment of corroded sub-circular iron shank sitting below a sub rectangular 'collar'. The key has a trefoil terminal formed of three openwork comma shaped loops, merging together into the collar. These terminate in a spherical knop above the central loop.
