A complete cast copper alloy, possible arrowhead, of probable Medieval dating (AD 1300 to AD 1500).
The top of the arrowhead consists of a circular sectioned conical point. The top has been blunted. A circular collar is present between the top and the tang. The tang is square sectioned and tapers to an incomplete point.
The arrowhead measures 42.45 mm in length, 7.20 mm wide and 3.85 mm thick. It weighs 6.4 g.
The arrowhead is a dark brown colour, with an even patina.
This artefact has been provisionally identified as an arrowhead, however it does not fit the standard types of Medieval arrowheads, so this identification is not definite at the time of recording. No parallel has been found at the time of recording.
