A incomplete lead-alloy unidentified object of uncertain date. The artefact is a sub-lozenge in plan, but all edges a broken, possibly recently. The outer face has what appears to be moulded decoration in the form of a large sub-circular pellet with a possible trough around it. The surface has a slightly mottled cream and light grey colour, but is predominantly oxidised. The fragment measures 37.87mm in length, 29.61mm in width, 23.28mm thick and weighs 72g.
The date of the object is unknown and the function is not certain. It is an unusual object, and from the same field a similar fragment with a 'V' has also been recorded (WAW-B02356).
