A complete cast copper alloy double looped oval buckle or sword belt hanger of early Post Medieval date, circa AD1500-1630. The buckle consists of a double looped oval frame with a circular, lateral suspension loop. The reverse has a bevelled internal reverse. The belt hanger is mid to dark green with an uneven patina. The surface is slightly abraded. Length: 45.16mm. Width: 39.00mm. Thickness: 9.90mm. Weight: 8.7g.
