A complete silver struck cut halfpenny of either Henry III (1216-1272) or Edward I (1272-1307). The coin is possibly a Class 5, dating from AD1250-1275 probably belonging to Henry III. The obverse shows a forward facing crowned bust with beard. The obverse legend reads []ENRICVS. The reverse shows a voided long cross with three pellets in each quadrant. The reverse legned reads []ARD ON[]. Diameter: 15.58mm. Thickness: 0.72mm. Weight: 0.5g. Die axis probably 3 o'clock.
