A complete silver hammered penny of either Edward I (1272-1307) or Edward II (1307-1327). The coin is probably an Edward II Class 10. The mint is Canterbury. Obverse shows a forward facing crowned bust. Obverse legend reads E[]ARAN[]hYB. The reverse is a long cross with three pellets in each quadrant. Reverse legend reads CIVI/TAS/CAN/TOR. Diameter: 18.58mm. Thickness: 0.96mm. Weight: 1.3g. Die axis: 12 0'clock.
