A medieval silver coin: a Scottish cut half penny of Alexander III (1249-1286), first coinage, long cross and stars, dating from 1250-1280, the moneyer either Wilam or Willem, the mint unidentified. It is 17.8mm long, 9.1mm wide and 0.7mm thick. it weighs 0.43gm.
