Copper alloy Penannular Brooch, Fowler Class A. Cast round section band with collared bulbous terminals, flattened where they face each other. The band is worn particularly thin, from a maximum diameter of 3.7mm to a minimum diameter of 2mm, at the position of the pin (now lost). Partly folded, bent at the thinnest part of the band. Suggested date: Roman, 100-300.
