Copper alloy and (possibly) textile, buckle. A tiny cast single looped buckle with pointed lipped and notched outer edge and an offset strap bar retaining a slotted and folded sheet metal plate (sheet thickness 0.8mm) secured at its curved end by a single rivet of diameter 2mm and length 2.6mm. Fibrous material between the plates may represent the survival of a textile strap of thickness 1.7mm. Suggested date: Late Medieval, 1350-1450.
