Post-medieval copper alloy double-looped buckle frame, both loops oval, with a lobe at the ends of the bar and at the four junctions of sides and edges. There is iron staining from the loop on the bar and in the centre of one edge. Angled around the bar. Slight traces of black-lacquer coating. Form close to that of Whitehead 2003 no. 382. 35.5 x 24mm. c.1550 - c.1650.
