Heavily worn silver post Medieval coin. Scottish issue probably of James VI, uncertain denomination, possibly a merk or half merk. Obverse shows a Lion Rampant in a shield - it is not clear if there is anything to either side of the shield, the reverse face is too worn to decipher. Dated in line with James VI's reign as 1567-1625.
