A rim sherd from a pottery vessel of Iron Age date. It is formed from a dark grey/black fabric with small white flinty inclusions and has a thickened and slightly out-turned rim. The entire sherd measures 41.44mm in width, 32.35mm in length, 11.15mm in thickness and 15.26g in weight. It is of Iron Age date, c.3rd to 1st centuries BC.
