A Post Medieval silver coin; a half groat of Henry VIII (1509 - 1547), probably third issue (1544 - 1547). See North numbers 1845 - 1853; Spink numbers 2375 - 2379. The coin is incomplete, it is broken around half of the edge of the flan and some is missing.
