Two very similar post-medieval copper alloy double-looped buckle frames, with both loops oval, a lobe at the ends of the bar, and in the centre of both edges a moulded sexfoil rosette. Both retain traces of black lacquer overall and iron staining on the bar, from the plate and/or pin. Cf. Margeson 1993, 28, fig. 17 no. 174. 37 x 23.5mm. c.1550 - c.1650.
