Two medieval to post-medieval sheet copper alloy vessel repairs, two "paperclip" rivets, one retaining a circular rove (diameter 32mm), the other a rectangular one (38 x 19mm). Within the latter piece there is a body sherd of a cast vessel between the head and the rove. Interestingly a sheet rivet has been driven through the "paperclip's" head, the sherd and the rove, presumably for extra security rather than as a repair to a repair. Probably 14th - 17th century.
