A complete flint disk scraper of Mesolithic date (9500-4500 BC). The lithic is sub-ovate in profile and is a secondary flake as there is a large amount of retained cortex across the dorsal surface. The dorsal surface contains one predominant negative scar situated at the proximal left hand side. The ventral surface is smooth and convex due to a bulb of percussion situated on the proximal edge. The distal, left and right hand edges contain semi-abrupt retouch and there is a notched aspect in the left hand edge.
The flint is a light cream/blue in colour. The cortex is a mid brown.
