Copper alloy lid. Pressed concavo-convex lid from an oval box. Within a milled rim a decorative design comprises a border of flat triangles defining a field occupied by a repeated eight-petalled floral design. Burnt, crumpled and broken into two pieces. Suggested date: Modern, 1850-1900.
