Two fragments of Medieval ceramic vessels; a wall sherd and a rim sherd. They are both a hard gritty fabric, pale orange to light grey in colour with a fine texture. They have frequent large angular quartz inclusions which make the surface pimply, and some dark red inclusions and white, probably shell, pieces.
Rim sherd: 41.66mm long, 12.92mm thick and 18.3mm high, The wall is 4.6mm thick. The rim is square and thickened, with a concave top. The rim diameter is about 16cm. 11.75g
Wall sherd: 34.97mm long, 31.6mm wide, 6.12mm thick. The edges are quite abraded. 9.69g.
