A leg fragment of a Medieval/Post-Medieval copper alloy cooking vessel. The fragment is a heavily sooted and worn foot with four toes, which stands at 28.47mm high, having been broken off directly above the foot. The base is flat and roughly trapezoidal in cross-section, with the back edge straight and protrusions for the toes. Sooting and reddening of the metal suggests that this object was repetitively subjected to fire, which supports the notion that the original vessel was used for cooking. The base measures a maximum of 34.77mm by 29.20mm and the whole object weighs 105.22g.
