A Post Medieval copper alloy composite, incomplete, catch-piece or anchor plate from a book clasp circa 16th Century AD. The front flares into a fan shape at base. Concentric circular pattern at the widest end. It has two rivets and roves (square), and a circular bar threaded through attachment at the top.
