VESSEL

Unique ID: BERK-E51232

Object type certainty: Certain
Workflow status: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation

A sub-rectangular lump of copper alloy, possibly a post-medieval vessel foot, from a large cooking vessel such as a cauldron. However the lump does not show any of the usual styling or flatness that vessel feet normally do, however its size and weight do suggest such a function. Post-medieval, c. AD 1500-1700.
