A cast copper-alloy bar mount of Medieval date. It is rectangular in form, slightly curved in profile and with a rectangular notch at the centre of one edge. At the centre of the mount is a circular rivet hole containing a separately cast copper-alloy rivet with sub-circular rove. The entire object measures 21.26mm in length, 7.33mm in width, 3.09mm in thickness and 1.95g in weight. It is of Medieval date, c.14th century AD (c.f. Egan and Pritchard, 1991: no. 1145).
