An incomplete copper-alloy strap end of Medieval date. It is missing most of the front and back plates due to old breaks. The lower halves of the plates are flat and rectangular in form with a projecting decorative terminal, held together by a central cylindrical rivet with flattened round heads. The terminal has a projecting transverse rectangular collar beneath which are pairs of semi-circular notches and a trifoliate/trefoil shaped terminal. In its current form the object measures 25.51mm in length, 8.08mm in width, 2.24mm in thickness and 1.68g in weight. This is a complete strap end of Medieval date with parallels noted from Norwich (Margeson, 1993: nos. 232-234). It is of probable 14th-15th century AD date.
